Master Battery joins Suno, Kinergy and Solaris Vita in the MIEB programme in Móstoles

  • The closing ceremony, held at Móstoles Desarrollo and presided over by the mayor, Manuel Bautista, and the Councillor for the Economy, Industry and Employment, Ángeles García, brought the second edition of the programme to a close.

  • This year’s MIEB programme brought together nine innovative start-ups in the fields of energy, mobility and logistics.

Móstoles, 12 March 2026.- Master Battery has taken part as a mentor company in the second edition of the Móstoles Impact Entrepreneurship Booster (MIEB) programme, an initiative by Móstoles City Council aimed at supporting innovative start-ups in the energy, mobility and logistics sectors. Over the course of several months, the company has supported three technology projects linked to the energy sector, helping to accelerate their development and business validation.

In this process, Master Battery has drawn on its expertise in energy storage, off-grid power and battery development to support the following start-ups:

  • Suno, energy management software that enables industrial and commercial enterprises to reduce costs and improve their electrical resilience through energy storage systems.

  • KINERGY, a new-generation PEM hydrogen fuel cell designed for industrial and urban mobility applications and off-grid systems.

  • Solaris Vita, flexible and semi-transparent solar panels (OPV) that can be integrated into greenhouses without affecting crop growth.

Through this collaboration, the company has helped to drive forward solutions related to smart energy management, energy efficiency and storage technologies.

There is a lack of momentum for innovation

Master Battery’s participation in the programme reinforces its commitment to technological innovation and supporting entrepreneurial talent, particularly in a key area such as energy storage, which is fundamental to the development of renewable energy and the transition towards more sustainable energy models.

Through this initiative, Master Battery also reinforces its Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) strategy and its commitment to ESG criteria, in line with existing projects such as Ciudadenergía and the Master Battery – UPM Chair, which focuses on research into energy storage systems and batteries.

Móstoles, an ecosystem for entrepreneurship and innovation

The MIEB programme forms part of Móstoles City Council’s strategy to strengthen the local business ecosystem and position the city as a hub of innovation in the south of the Community of Madrid.

The initiative facilitates connections between start-ups, established companies and the public sector, creating a collaborative environment that enables the development of projects with growth potential in sectors that are strategic for the economy of the future.

In this edition, the programme has awarded €10,000 to ByMe Moving, a digital platform that optimises the management of removals by automating quotes, coordinating suppliers and streamlining operations.
